Surface holes, manufactured into the cardboard canvas, become part of the composition of this No Fishing Sign. Wide strokes of matte purple, glossy yellow, translucent orange, and dry, grey paint are covered with large hits of matte and gloss white, as well as a matte wash of light beige. Only the letter “O” remains visible from whatever prohibition this sign once declared.
